For your viewing pleasure…

Look, my blog had a makeover!  Matt said, “Whoa.” which of course I have no idea if that means it looks great or if he might stop recommending it to his friends.

Remember how I just got back from Women’s Conference a few weeks ago and loved it?  Well, I want to give you a heads-up on the upcoming broadcasts of some of the talks.  I put asterisks next to two of my favorites (plus my best guess for their specific time slot).  I haven’t seen all of them yet, because I attended some different classes, but I’m sure they’re all wonderful.  If you have BYU-TV (channel 374 on DirecTV) or know someone who can record these for you, you won’t regret watching them.  Great stuff here, great stuff.  Here’s the scheduling information:

Thursday, May 13 (BYUTV)

1:00–6:00 p.m. MDT

*“Choose Ye This Day to Serve the Lord”
Julie B. Beck  (1:00?)

Hearts Bound Together
Carol L. Clark

Arise and Shine Forth: Return to Virtue
Elaine S. Dalton, Mary N. Cook, Ann M. Dibb

“Truth Is Restored Again”
Ana Maria Coburn, Debbie J. Christensen

*Coming Together and Sustaining Each Other in Righteous Choices
Renata Forste (5:00?)

Friday, May 14 (BYUTV)

1:00–6:00 p.m. MDT

Reaching Near and Far: Welfare and Church Humanitarian Services
Silvia H. Allred, Barbara Thompson

“They Had Been Taught to Keep the Commandments of God and to Walk Uprightly before Him”
Rosemary M. Wixom, Jean A. Stevens, Cheryl A. Esplin

“Follow the Prophet”
Nancy Murphy, Heidi Swinton

“With Love towards One Another in All Things, and Under All Circumstances”
JoAnn Child, Marie K. Hafen

Friday Closing Session
Elder Dallin H. Oaks, Kristen M. Oaks

If you haven’t voted for our Diapers and Divinity Poetry Contest winner yet, get crack-a-lackin’.  I have no idea why I just used that word.  Winners announced at the end of the day Wednesday.

And just because I found this today and I’m really excited to study it, I wanted to share it.

  1. I too love the new look. I especially love the header pictures! Very nice. We used to get BYU TV when we lived in NY… I miss it very much!

  2. I love this new theme! And I’m glad you put up the schedule. I’d set my DVR already, but it didn’t say who would be shown at what time. Woo! I’m so anxious to see Sister Beck’s talk; I’ve heard so many fabulous things about it.

  3. Why, what good taste you have, my dear! We’ve picked the same theme. 🙂
It’s sort of like showing up to the prom in similar dresses…but, still very unique and complimentary, don’t you think?

  4. Love the new look — very clean. Maybe I should think about redesigning my blog to make it seem clean since I can’t really seem to get a handle on it in my house.

Please say something. I've said enough. :)
