These are links to articles and resources I used in preparing a lesson called:
“The Beauty Paradox: The Surprising Relationship between Righteousness, Self-Image and Power”
Here is a link to the blog post that summarizes the lesson content.
These reference listed below explore modesty, the sanctity of the body, the power of virtue and having the Lord’s image in our countenance, deep beauty, confidence, and our ongoing call to be disciples of Christ in all that we do (and wear).

Thank you for sharing this information. Our YW leaders are currently addressing this subject through a 5th Sunday lesson coming up. I wanted to ask you what you would think about coming and addressing a bistake standards night for us or something similar in Nephi Utah. We recently thought we had the girls who have created the Beauty Redefined campaign lined up, but through miscommunication, this fell through. I really feel this still needs to be addressed and when I saw that you recently spoke on this, I just thought I would ask. I will check with the stake leaders and see if this is something they are interested in if you would be willing. If you cannot, I understand. You can email me at bonbon251 at gmail dot com. Thanks again for sharing your time and talents with us!
