You know, flu shots are not all they’re cracked up to be. I went years without getting one, and the first year I did get a shot, I got sicker than I’ve ever been before. Go figure.

I have something that might cheer you up. Remember last May? Yeah! I finally got it done! (But maybe I’ll wait to send it to you because I sure wouldn’t want anyone puking all over it.)

Well, sure, if you count “God , will you please send my children to a different planet while I recover? Oh, and if it’s possible, please don’t let my husband get sick too because I love him so so so so much. And he’s a big baby when he’s sick. Amen.” as an irrational prayer. Which I don’t.

I’m hoping that the fact that all the kids here have had the flu means that I don’t need to bother with the flu shots too. Here’s hopin’ they hurry and get better. And that that nasty Mr. Flu stays away for the rest of the season.

Ugh! We’ve been sick too. First Raina, then Salem and now I have a sore throat. I give up! (((Hugs))) But yeah at least you don’t have to worry about the vax now.
